Tanya Lee opened the original BodyArt Studio in 1998 as a body transformation consultancy. Over the last decade, she has become known for her diversified and unique approach to nutrition, posture and wellness.

Tanya is an accomplished personal transformation coach, yoga trainer, figure model, and writer.  She stays busy giving talks, writing books and teaching courses in ways that make the fundamentals easy to understand.  Tanya's insights to mind-body psychology and physiology bring focus to one's relationship with food, exercise, body-image and self-worth.

As a pioneer in the fitness and wellness industry, Tanya opened the first studio in Canada to combine yoga, pilates and MMA, she stood on the podium in Canada's first recognized figure model competition, and was among the first to bring yoga classes into the gym environment.  Today, she's spearheading a new cutting-edge branch of Personal Training based in the therapeutic and sculpting benefits of customized yoga, pilates and dance.

Her BodyArt Cookbook, after more than ten years in print, remains a cult classic in the fitness industry as a bible for creative meal planning.  Her latest book is Five Alignment Secrets, co-authored with behavior analyst Wolf Lawrence.  It combines a philosophically stimulating adventure story with plain-language posture guidelines for safe and effective exercise and daily movement.

In spring 2006, Tanya began intense empowerment work with Wolf. Integrating his skills/experience into her personal and professional practices resulted in such clarity of purpose that she invited Wolf to co-found and consult the BodyArt Motion endeavor and team and work with select clients open to his unorthodox approaches.

Wolf Lawrence is co-founder, architect and foreman.  A man of many talents, but for us he is a behaviorist and strategist - one who observes patterns and shares insights into relationship dynamics and offers us an understanding of what it is to be masculine and feminine on many layers.  His current study involves how hormonal fluctuations challenge us in relationships.  Born and raised in California, he calls it as he sees it and brings a sexy factor to BodyArt and spearheads our Foxy Finishing programs.

Wolf served in a US Marine recon platoon and pursued film/media studies in parallel at one of the most sought after film programs at UCLA.  While these experiences seem to oppose each other i.e. obedience vs creativity, he sees them both grouped under the umbrella of indoctrination studies.  As a writer/analyst, he has a keen understanding of perception and how how individuals and groups interpret, understand and interact with the information, cultures, and behaviors around them.  As a videographer/lyricist, he values the beauty of rhythm and aesthetics, shapes and sounds, as essential and sensual aspects of our deeper nature.

Christine McLeod is the newest member of our team.   She believes strongly that a properly aligned body is a very efficient, powerful body.  Most recently, Christine has been studying the PowerAlign posture training system with Tanya Lee.

Since 1998 she's been a Personal Trainer and a Nutritional Consultant.  Earning kudos from doctors for helping correct knee issues post-surgery, she went on to certify as a Post Rehabilative Exercise Specialist.  She has run her own supplement shop, a juice bar, and her own clothing line and spent seven years as a fitness competitor before starting a family in 2008.

As a natural competitive athlete who continues to be involved in team sports such as football and baseball, Christine has sought after the "best of the best" to expand her knowledge in various areas of training - namely athletics, TRX, and Kettlebell.  She develops long-term relationships with her clients and helps them realize their full strength potential beyond what they ever thought possible.

Christine started her yoga practice in 2004 to increase her flexibility.  She was drawn to the calming effect that yoga had in balancing a high energy personality.
