BODY ART MOTION AND ATOZ ARTS PROUDLY PRESENT

THE 4TH ANNUAL MAGIC:
A WINTER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION

As the darkest days of Winter come to a close, we gather in community to celebrate the return of the light. Mark your calendars for December 17th, when the Winter Solstice brings forth MAGIC, our fourth annual celebration! Join us in a realm of enchantment, where wonders await at every turn.

Start your journey at the ARTISAN MARKET, open from 12 PM until 7 PM, where you can find unique treasures crafted by local makers. Delve into this trove of treasures, where every trinket and treat holds a touch of magic. From hand-crafted jewelry to gluten-free delicacies, there’s something special for everyone.

But the magic doesn’t stop there. Brace yourself for two mystical shows that will leave you spellbound. At 2 PM, witness the matinee show, and at 5PM the evening show begins. Both shows feature our very own Body Art Motion students, alongside guests from dance schools across Calgary. Experience the wonder of Belly Dance, Bollywood, spinning props, and even poetry to whisk you away into a winter wonderland of dance and storytelling. Who knows? You may even catch a glimpse of the mythical Krampus (the kid-friendly version, of course!).

So let’s turn the tide on the winter blues and welcome back the light with open arms. Join us at the Pumphouse Theatre, just outside Calgary’s downtown core, for a day of magic unlike any other.
