CONJURE MOTION 3 MONTH INITIATION

AUTUMN SEASON 2023: THREE WEEKENDS SEPT-OCT-NOV

This Fall, we will gather in community and immerse into a 3 month journey of self discovery and personal practice through connection, movement, music and mystery traditions.

I am so very proud to announce the first ever in-person 50 hour intensive training for Conjure Motion – a nature inspired fusion dance format that explores ancient sciences, western mystery tradition, astrology and tarot and then weaves it into logical practices inspired by the techniques found in global folkloric dances, yoga, martial arts, and other movement disciplines. 

We will meet once/month for a 16 hour weekend intensive to study a full vocabulary of choreographed moves that embody a mystical symbolic language connecting body, mind and heart to the magick found within the many expressions of fire, water, air, earth. In the in-between weeks, we will explore homework practices and rituals.

By the end of 3 months, my aim is to have provided the tools, support and guidance needed for us all to be proficient in practicing the Conjure Motion level one rituals.

SYLLABUS OVERVIEW

This is a 3 month journey, in between our weekends we’ll remain connected through online group chat.  The following is a rough outline of some of the subjects we will explore. If you would like to view the syllabus breakdown for each weekend, please email me: [email protected]

  • Foundational Theory: Yoga, Chakras, Qabala, Tree of Life, Tarot, Astrology
  • History of fusion systems in yoga, dance, martial arts, and magick
  • The four classical Elements: Fire, Water, Air, Earth
  • Ancient Sumer, Western Mystery Traditions & Ceremonial Magick
  • Posture, breath work and visualization techniques
  • Psychosomatic research, emotions in the body & unconscious mind
  • Working with etheric energy aka prana, chi, ki, etc. 
  • Detailed exploration of 20 Conjure Motion dance combinations
  • Specific SIGIL concepts/staging for group work
  • Music theory: EDM beat structures, global & organic house music

TUITION: (includes materials & testing fee) $939 upfront or 3 monthly payments of $333 or 5 monthly payments of $199

MATERIALS: Conjure Motion Manual ($80 value), Conjure Motion Tarot Deck ($40 value), Practice Videos ($100 value)

REFUNDS: Make your decision wisely, there are no refunds for any reason. To receive the full benefits of this program, it is recommended that you engage with the homework practices provided for the 3 weeks in between the monthly weekends. Daily recommended practices can be anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour.

Conjure Motion

TESTING PROCESS & CERTIFICATE

Although we will be diving deep into the juicy details of this work, this is not a teacher training. We will focus on the development of your own personal practice and practice within a group dynamic. 

Conjure Motion is a 3 level system; similar to a belt system in Martial Arts where you need to demonstrate that you can execute the foundations before you move onto what builds from it. Once you receive your level one certificate, you will be invited to join the process of developing the level two work!  Level one certificate holders will also be given priority when recruiting for professional BAM performance/demonstration opportunities.

To receive the level one Conjure Motion certificate, you must attend the full 48 hours in-person and pass the exam with 80% or higher. Testing hours will be available Friday December 1st and Saturday December 2nd, 2023. If you live out of town, testing can be done via Zoom. If needed, retesting can be done throughout the year for a $50 fee.
